I think the main problem is that a system author is more likely to see when things start to go wrong and will be able to get out of the trades. Blindly following a system that you have no knowledge of could lead to problems. If the old Index King system doesn't look so good now, why have faith in the new one?

Why are there all those silly adverts on the website? It doesn't cost that much to buy a domain name and host a website. I could do it for £40 a year. There is no need for all those affiliate adverts and they make me think that all is not as it seems.

Looking at the timing of mug's long call you need stops of 70+. On DAX that is nearly 2000 Euros if trading futures.....

Skim is 100% right to be concerned about mug2k's posts.

Trading is not like horse racing or betting red/black at the casino. When mug makes a prediction he has a 50/50 chance of being right. It's as easy as that. The problem is that, unlike a bet on the ponies or on the tables, with futures your loss is not defined. It's UNLIMITED.

You say that you are new to trading............the fact that you are willing to give mug2k a "chance" proves that

I'm still watching it but i did jump in the other day and I'm glad I did. I don't do all of them. And anyway there is a stoploss and a shorter time frame which is better than the main one.
The original IK didn't look good earlier on this year by the looks of the stats, but it certainly made up for it later. I know its gone bad lately but that isONE trade.and that hasn't actually finished yet ! Every system has a few bad trades, but it is a regular winner, you can't deny that.

Yes no doubt we all could but we don't have to share the trades for nitto. Its already free and you'd still deny him a few afiliate links ? C'mon BB you need to ease up a bit!

Skim I take your point about the poster suddenly giving up and leaving people high and dry, but a sensible stop loss would save any catastrophy. The only thing I'm not sure about with the Mug posts, is there is no stoploss mentioned. So it is dangerous I agree. But then nothing in life comes with a cherry on top.

As far as Mug2k goes, if he is posting the Skim thread version then I don't mind because its saving me the work ! No one else is doing that. I work long hours so don't have the time to phaff about studying charts all day, like many here have the luxury of.

Car Key Boi is spot on. There was a programme about successful millionaire entrepreneurs recently and a lot of them had educational difficulties, sometimes caused by dyslexia. But they were above average intelligence and loaded.

Mug2k at least shows some of the entrepreneurial spirit even if it might be a bit misguided.

Yep, but I wouldn't advise blindly following any trading tips they proffered. At the very least it can indicate a lack of care & dilligence.

agreed 100%. I would advise blindly following ANY trading system regardless of the quality of the presentation. If anything, i'm more suspicious when the marketing and presentation is of the highest order

yup, we did it. I am now officially ownzed by a hot Caribbean chick. Everything didn't quite go to plan thou, the whole thing was overshadowed by the news from England that Dooks (married to my wife's eldest sister) had been admitted to hospital with major organ failure. He died a few days later. So instead of enjoying the sights of Paris, both of us are in England looking after her sister. Such is life
